Ben Gac is a Registered Piano Technician, a member of the Piano Technician's Guild, and a graduate of the critically acclaimed Chicago School for Piano Technology as well as the exclusive C.F. Theodore Steinway Academy. Based near Oak Park, IL, Ben offers discriminating, high-end-only service for quality pianos in Chicago and its suburbs.
Ben does work for a number of distinguished venues including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Elgin Symphony, Steinway Piano Gallery of Chicago, and the Wheaton Conservatory of Music. "I have found a piano at my fingertips to be a vehicle of ecstatic contemplation. My studies at CSPT cultivated a holistic and sophisticated understanding of the instrument that I could not have previously imagined, which is exactly what I had hoped to find there. What I hadn't expected to find after many years of dedicated musical study, however, was a new set of ears with which to sense the mysterious beauty of sound itself.
